Perth North meets on Saturday afternoons. The Black Lives Matter rally is on Sat 13th and we will be going there to lend our support to something we feel is crucial and fully back. Environmental justice requires ending racism, with it's horrific effects on the lives of People of Colour here and around the world. We recognise that for some people it would be too risky for their health to attend this event. Please use your own judgment and take good care of your health. The event will be live screened (see the rally event link below) and you will be with us in spirit if you choose not to come. Some of us from XR North of the River have concerns about our health and so will be as far back as possible from the centre of the action. It is likely to be difficult to maintain physical distancing at this rally, but we will be doing our best to do that and wearing masks and carrying hand sanitiser - we would encourage everyone to do that.
