You are the Rebellion. If it is broken, help us fix it. This meeting is an open space for everyone to be heard. A time to discuss, debate and share how each of us feels now, how each of us would like to respond now, and how XR Norwich should act in light of our current situation. It is also to promote activation of more members and the creation of more actions. Covid-19 was not expected. We didn’t have time to plan for it how to react. It has changed everyone’s lives, but now feels like a time when we can start planning our route forward. The Climate and Ecological Crisis is not going away either, and as we emerge from lockdown we need to ensure our message is heard, and we Build Back Better. There can be No Going Back if we want to build a greener and sustainable future for all. All opinions are valued and important. As coordinators we would like to request that even those people who might veer away from a meeting normally give it a go and voice solutions. We want to build a refreshed and invigorated Rebellion in Norwich with those who are motivated and comfortable participating. The meeting will revolve around: - What have the challenges been but also what has been successful since XR Norwich was founded? - How do we respond to the climate crisis and channel the 3 demands? - How do we structure XR Norwich so we can fully support actions? - Your thoughts on how we take action now.
