\# **MEETING FACILITATION TRAINING: Tuesday 23rd June, 7pm-9.30pm** ***This is an online session specifically for those who identify with she/her pronouns\*** This interactive session aims to support participants to... - Understand the role of the facilitator - Identify personal areas of confidence and areas for further development in relation to facilitating - Build confidence to facilitate an XR meeting (including opening the meeting, encouraging and managing contributions, facilitating decision making and action planning, and closing) in alignment with XR values and principles - Explore the flow of a meeting, power dynamics and key facilitation tools - Know where to go for further help with facilitating XR meetings If there's desire we could schedule a follow up session to further explore decision making, power dynamics, engaging with conflict and other areas of interest for participants. The session is with Roz, a wonderful rebel from XR UK. She has worked with XR UK Embedding Nonviolence (within Guardianship) and Affiniity Group Support Network. She also works with [Navigate](http://www.navigate.org.uk/) – a cooperative of facilitators, who work with grassroots groups working for environmental and social justice.
